I always liked art. My mom and brother were terrific at drawing, and my sister was also very talented in pottery and painting. They were good inspiration and I thought someday, I would jump in too. But throughout the years, other interests, work and life in general, offered me very little time to pursue a creative outlet. With retirement, came more time to spend with my aging mom, who continued to encourage me, knowing how much I’d enjoy it. Moms are always right. Shortly after my moms passing in 2017, I finally found the time and passion. And my love for water doesn’t stop at the beach, or sailing, scuba diving or snorkeling. I’ve always loved watercolor paintings. And so, it began.
